Lower Mainland Ringette member associations are working hard to bring ringette to the ice this September. Thank you for your patience while safety plans are being worked on.

Sport is returning to British Columbia in accordance with the BC Restart Plan.  Sport activities can resume in accordance with the viaSport Return to Sport Guidelines and public health protocols.

Ringette BC has created the Return to Ringette Guidelines available as part of its COVID 19 Resource Hub.

Each association and league of Ringette BC are creating a safety plan, which must be approved in order for them to proceed with the season. The safety plans are harmonized with ViaSport, Ringette BC, and applicable local government recreation and facility guidelines.

Please note that each association’s safety plan will be different, due to the various facility and regional requirements. Registration launch, ice availability and things like numbers of athletes allowed on ice surfaces will vary by region and therefore, by association.

LMRL will be developing a safety plan for when Ringette BC’s Return to Ringette plan moves into Progression 3 and inter-league (regional) games are allowed. We will also share news and plans of our member associations for your awareness in the lead up to Progression 3. As of August 14, ringette is in Progression 1 of the plan.
