A ringette program for Indigenous youth is being offered in Chilliwack from October 9 to December 4, 2024 and from January 15 to March 12, 2025. The hour-long ice times are free for Indigenous youth aged 10-18 to attend, and take place after school from 3:30 to 4:45pm.

The program has been operating for the past five years and this season, players will be provided with full ringette equipment to use.

The program is co-developed by Skwá First Nation and supported by the Community Gaming Grant (Province of BC), Ringette Canada, and the Indigeneous Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation Council (ISPARC).
