Travel Fee Rates
- Travel fees are based on the official's home association
- If an official travels over one association boundary, they receive an additional $10.00.
- BNWRA and NWVRA are considered one boundary
- If an official travels over two more Association boundaries, they receive an additional $15.00.
- If an official travels to a game and does two or more games, they will only receive a travel subsidy for the first game, not additional games.
Refereeing Games Alone
- In an official referees a game solo, they will receive double pay at their game fee rate
- They do not receive double travel pay.
FUNdamental 1 & 2 Divisions
- When assigning referees to games, ensure that the referee has the appropriate level of certification and training as outlined in the Officiating Level Requirements table on the Ringette Canada website.
Off-Ice Training
- The referee in-training will receive payment for their on-ice training (unless the Association has a different model in place).
- The official who is scheduled to shadow the new referee will receive their regular game fee compensation.
