Fraser Health has released new restrictions for a local health authority within Fraser Health. The Local Health Authority of Fraser East has new restrictions that came into effect yesterday. These restrictions do not directly affect all ringette associations within the Lower Mainland Ringette League but as players and teams travel and games will be coming up shortly all LMRL Associations have been included in this update.
Fraser East includes the communities of: Agassiz, Hope, Chilliwack, Mission, Abbotsford, Harrison, and Boston Bar.
New Restrictions:
– Adult Sport (18+ and Masters) now requires proof of double dose of vaccination status for all participants, coaches, volunteers, and spectators.
—> All other regions are still able to have only a partial dose
Any other venues and businesses that require proof of vaccination are required to ask for proof of a double dose of vaccination – for sport this could apply to spectators depending on facility rules.
Please continue to follow the restrictions as outlined by your facilities and if there are further developments Ringette BC will communicate them as soon as possible.
