All Youth Matters Course

Ringette BC in partnership with Softball BC, CurlBC, and Volleyball BC, is offering an All Youth Matters course as part of PRIDE month. The course is free and open to anyone in ringette that is interested in learning about how to build an inclusive sport participation environment.

Course Overview:
All Youth Matter is a four-hour workshop where participants learn about the factors that contribute to an inclusive environment, how to identify and address barriers and biases, and steps to take to intervene and prevent discrimination. Any individuals working with youth in a sport, recreation, or physical capacity are encouraged to register.
The course will provide participants with three Professional Development credits towards their NCCP. The course is facilitated by Paralympian, Elizabeth Walker -Young.

Course Date and Time:
Monday, June 28 and Wednesday, June 30 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM
*To receive credit participants must attend both days.
